Backup Scope

  • Primary relational database content (matters, contacts, events, notes, billing, and metadata).
  • Document storage and generated file history where configured.
  • Configuration metadata needed to restore service behavior.

Backup Cadence

  • Scheduled recurring backups at least daily for production environments.
  • Additional on-demand backups before major changes or migrations.

Restore Testing

  • Periodic recovery drills validate that backups can be restored successfully.
  • Restore procedures include both database and document storage verification.

Customer Responsibility

Self-hosted or customer-managed environments must configure provider backups according to their risk tolerance and compliance needs.
